Baby Dedication

We believe that children should be able to choose baptism for themselves as they grow up and make a decision to follow Christ as an older child or teen. Instead of infant baptism, we practice baby dedication. Through baby dedication, parents commit to raise their child in a Godly home during a short ceremony where a family brings the child (children) being dedicated to the Pastor during a special section of the service, and they receive special prayer. For more information email us.

We believe that baptism is an outward sign of an inward conversion. We hold baptism services regularly, and practice baptism by immersion. Prerequisites include making a personal decision to follow Christ, watching a short teaching video and completing a corresponding questionnaire. For more information email us.

Is it time to go further and you need additional resources? Are you willing to explore your potential and move to higher performance? Are you ready to build trusting relationships? If your answer to any of these questions is yes, it may be a good time to look into Christian coaching options.

Opportunities for both service and growth are available within our coaching community including, but not limited to, participating in peer coaching relationships, involvement in coaching groups, and serving in ministry as a coach. If you’re interested in these coaching options, please email Coach Linda.

Listen to advice and accept instruction, and in the end you will be wise." Proverbs 19:20
Most of the time when we have an emotional need, we can lean on a friend, family member, or community group. However, sometimes problems become more complicated, and we need further guidance. When that time comes we would like to help you. If we sense that you need further assistance, we can help to connect you with a competent and caring Christian counselor. Dinner and A Prayer

Crisis and trauma come in many ways: illness, unemployment, loss of a loved one, and other stressful circumstances. Dinner and a Prayer (D&P) prepares and delivers meals to people who are in the midst of a short term or on-going crises. D&P staff connect those in need with someone who will listen and pray, believing that all things are possible through Jesus Christ.

Join the Dinner and a Prayer team today! Help prepare meals (cooking, cleaning, and supervising), deliver meals, donate funds or gift cards for meals, and/or listen, pray, and be with people when they need it most! For more information email us.

When illness or injury strikes, we are affected emotionally and spiritually. Our visitation pastor is available to visit for prayer and encouragement if you, or someone you know, is hospitalized, in a nursing home, or home bound. To request visitation, contact the church office (763) 754-1011 or contact us.

Our ministry reaches out to:
mark-bulletThose experiencing hospital stays
mark-bulletNursing home residents
mark-bulletTemporary rehabilitation residency
mark-bulletShut-ins unable to travel to church

We bring the love of Christ in prayer, words of encouragement, the Word of God, communion, word of blessing and general Christian fellowship. Our core belief in visitation of the sick or recovering from surgery is that the Church is responsible for following Christ in caring one for another and God is responsible for the cure.

Visitation ministry focuses on spiritual care of the individual to aid in their healing recovery, nurture their faith in God during a difficult time and think about their relationship with Him. Our Visitation Team is trained in the Stephen Ministries approach to Christian care giving.

Ministering at nursing homes is another ministry outreach of Abundant Life Church that we would like to expand. Participation in a Nursing Home Ministry Team is a once per month commitment with team members sharing ministry duties.

If you are interested in becoming a member of either our Visitation or Nursing Home Teams please contact us at the church office (763) 754-1011 or by email.

Weddings are an important part of life here at Abundant Life Church. When one of our pastors agree to perform a wedding, we make sure the couple is willing to invest in their marriage as a whole and not just the day of the wedding. We highly encourage couples to receive pre-marital counseling with one of our marriage mentors. If you are interested in having your wedding at our church contact us.
