Dinner and A Prayer

Crisis and trauma come in many ways: illness, unemployment, loss of a loved one, or other stressful circumstances. Dinner and a Prayer (D&P) prepares and delivers meals to people who are in the midst of a short term or on-going crises. D&P staff connect those in need with someone who will listen and pray, believing that all things are possible through Jesus Christ.

Join the Dinner and a Prayer team today! Help prepare meals (cooking, cleaning, and supervising), deliver meals, donate funds or gift cards for meals, and/or listen, pray, and be with people when they need it most! For more information, contact us .

Hospitality Ministry

This is one area where you will meet people quickly! Being a part of this ministry will help you connect, but even more will help others feel comfortable as they visit and or attend with our church family.

  • Greeters and Welcome Center teams greet each person that comes through the doors, and assist with building tours, helping find correct classrooms and sign-in for children, answering questions about events, and generally making newcomers and the church family comfortable.
  • Become a team member in the Coffee Shop, and you'll learn how to brew an amazing cup-o-joe while serving breakfast items and beverages to patrons. Service with a smile is the name of the game.
  • Ushers hand out bulletins, grant a second welcome to attendees, and assist with questions and needs during services. A friendly attitude and healthy handshake are required for this position.
  • Custodial Services in our church run solely on volunteer power! Cleaning and maintaining our beautiful building is a very practical way to get involved. Times and responsibilities are flexible.

We provide on-the-job training for each of these Hospitality Ministry positions! Contact us for more information.

Common Interest Groups

Making a difference can happen in so many ways; there is an unending list of needs to be met in our world. But it's so much more fun and beneficial when we can connect with others who share like passions for making a difference in a certain area. Maybe you are zealous about helping an organization feed hungry kids or serving meals for families with sick children. Or maybe you would love to work on a community project together with a team. Do you have an idea? We want to hear it! We would love to try to connect those in our congregation who are passionate about making a difference in whatever dreams God may lay on your heart. Contact us with your ideas or for more information.

Missions

Part of the Great Commission that Jesus gave the early church was to minister to those in "the uttermost parts of the earth." We take that call seriously as we support missionaries that are truly making a difference in various parts of the world. We assist them by providing financial support, taking short-term ministry teams to work alongside them, and supporting them through prayer and other means. Be part of the fulfillment of Christ's call to reach those you may never be able to reach on your own. Contact us for more information.
